Cloud is a virtual environment that consists of hardware (servers, communication channels, network equipment, etc.) and software (virtualization software). The main task of the cloud is to provide access to information to remote users.
There are three types of clouds:
- Private: virtual environments that commercial companies and organizations set up for themselves to use for their own corporate purposes.
- Public: virtual environments where the owner provides cloud access services to anyone who wishes to access the cloud.
- Hybrid: private clouds integrated into public virtual environments.
The main advantages of clouds are the organization of user access to data from any device connected to the Internet, and the security of data storage due to the high fault tolerance of the cloud.
